What Are Star Maps?
Star Maps are wall art or graphic prints creatively designed to capture the night sky as it was visible on any date and any location. They are a great way to commemorate a special moment or event, such as wedding days and birthdays.
The Print
I am pleased to offer this print in 8x10, 11x14 and 18x24 inches in size. The print can be ordered:
- with or without the equatorial lines (similar to latitude and longitude lines that are typically used by astronomers or sky gazers when star gazing or navigating the night sky)
- with or without the page border (for aesthetic effect)
- with or without constellation lines and with or without the Milky Way
- black and white or color
Digital Print
A high-resolution file (.pdf and .png, 300 DPI) can be emailed to you in place of a physical print for a flat rate in 8x10, 11x14, or 18x24. This file can be sent to a printing lab such as Shutterfly, Black's, Costco, Staples, etc. If a digital file is requested, a print preview will first be sent to the email address provided by you. After the design has been approved, a final copy will be sent to you.Framing Information
Framing is available for prints. I am offering one frame style for all three print sizes. The sturdy wood composite frames (from a separate frame supplier) feature a realistic wood grain veneer and thick glass to cover and protect the print (*polystyrene for the 18x24 frame). Frame is available in black. Other colours (white and grey) are available upon request.
Pick-up
I am located in London, Ontario, Canada for local pick ups. Arrangements can be made to pick up your order in the Westmount area or at my retailers in Old East Village or Hyde Park ahead of time.
